Makalu Wine Industries Limited is preparing to issue an Initial Public Offering (IPO) for the general public, offering 10 lakh shares worth 20% of its issued capital at a face value of Rs. 100 per share.
The company has appointed Reliable Investment and Merchant Capital Limited as the issue and sales manager for the IPO process.
Established in 1995 in Sankhuwasabha, the company produces organic “Himva Wine” using natural spring water and wild fruits, and is also planning to launch premium grape-based wines in the near future.
The IPO move is seen as a significant step in linking Nepal’s organic wine industry with the capital market.
